My name is Lisa and I am 53 years old. I have been treated for Fibromyalgia for over a year, only to find out that I may have other health issues, as well (Neuropathy, Lupus, M.S.) and will be undergoing a battery of tests in the near future. I started using the Golden Food and Spices a few months ago.
I try very hard to be consistent with making smoothies because I feel a world of difference when I’m consuming healthy, raw foods as opposed to processed foods. My overall health has been affected by my illness, so I have done research on which foods will benefit me personally.
I love the pre-workout smoothies because it’s extremely difficult to exercise. The smoothie has built endurance and I’m able to go a little further each day without having breathing difficulties and joint pain. I have also received benefits from the Golden Food and Spices system targeting arthritis and the immune system.
I feel better overall and can actually walk through Walmart without having to lean over my cart or sit down in an aisle away from everyone because of joint pain and shortness of breath and this is before I ever make it to the checkout!
I use a dill/radish/orange recipe for those who have lung issues. Mine was a result of the Adult Whooping Cough I contracted in November of 2010. My lungs were weakened and the damage has been irreversible. I’m using 2 inhalers now and experience exacerbations (lack of oxygen) with physical activity. As a result, I have been coughing up mucus for over a year now, around the clock.
My doctor has not been able to help me. I did some research of my own and found out what fights mucus and I’ve noticed a significant change since I’ve made it a part of my daily regime. I actually sleep through the night without having coughing attacks from choking on my own mucus.
Sounds gross, but it’s been my reality. Like the lady said in the infomercial, ”Thank you Golden Food and Spices for giving me my life back, thank you for taking away the pain. Where have you been all my life?” And a big thank you from me, for giving me hope when I was on the verge of giving up.
